Floating Plants
Floating plants grow simply by floating on the water's surface and absorbing excess nutrients in the water. They do not require planting. These plants will help to control the algae by shading the water and utilizing the dissolved nutrients that would normally promote the growth of algae. Floating plants also help in the maintenance of water clarity.
