At Sheridan Nurseries, our team of trained landscape professionals can assist you in creating a unique, relaxing and enjoyable addition to your home. Whether you prefer to do-it-yourself or have your landscape designed and installed for you, Sheridan Nurseries can provide quality products and expert advice that will help turn your landscape dreams into a reality.
We offer a wide range of landscape services that can accommodate any yard or garden. Whether your design needs are small or large, or you simply need assistance in planting, we have a service for you. and complete an application form. A Sheridan Nurseries colleague from our Central Booking Office will contact you to co-ordinate a meeting with one of our Landscape Designers.

Choose a service below after reviewing the options
In-Store Sketch Service
Call the Sheridan Nurseries Garden Centre nearest you to arrange a date/time to meet with one of our design professionals for an in-store sketch service appointment. Bring in your property measurements, photos, soil and light conditions and our design expert will suggest foundation planting ideas or planting solutions for your specific area. We will review your property photographs to produce a sketch drawing of your garden.
Fees
$50 plus HST (up to 45 minutes - may include front or back yard)
Garden Inspection Service
Call the Sheridan Nurseries Garden Centre nearest you to arrange a date/time for one of our qualified staff members to visit your home to provide a brief evaluation of your plant(s) or a specified area in your garden. Services may include pruning tips, advice on planting, moving, dividing plants as well as pest and disease identification.
Fees
$135 plus HST
Landscape Design Consultation - At Home
One of our Landscape Designers will come to your home to discuss your needs.
Fees (All fees are paid to the designer at the time of the appointment)

One hour: $135 plus HST.
*May cover a front or back yard, depending on size.

One hour and a half: $185 plus HST.
*Provides more in-depth discussion of goals for a front or back yard.

Two hours: $235 plus HST.
*May cover both the front and back yard, depending on size.

During Your Appointment
The designer will discuss your property needs and assist you with setting your goal. This includes choosing plant material, plant maintenance, light conditions, and the style you prefer. You will be given a list of plant material with quantities. If time permits the designer can draw a rough concept sketch (not to scale) that will identify planting areas and general ideas for placement of paths, patios and/or decks. For a more detailed, in-depth plan specific to decks and patios, please see our Master Plan option.
After Your Appointment
The designer can arrange for a contractor quote that will be provided to you at no additional charge. The designer can also assist with selection and delivery of plants.
Master Plan
This is a scaled drawing, which is an aerial view of the yard and areas discussed. In most cases these plans are computer generated. Some may be hand rendered.
If hardscaping is something you are interested in, you will most likely require a Master Plan. Master Plans enable you (the home owner) to visualize your plans for larger projects and to help you better understand how the final product will look. It will also help the contractor to provide accurate quotes for costs and project timing.
*It is necessary to have a Master Plan for municipal permits.
Fees
A quote for a Master Plan will be provided to you during the initial Landscape Design Consultation as well confirm all fees and deposits and any additional costs. Master Plans start at $350 plus HST. This fee is in addition to your initial Landscape Design Consultation.
Sheridan Plus Discount Card
After your appointment you will be entitled to a 10% discount on all regularly priced Sheridan Nurseries product (valid for one year). To activate the discount please fill out an application for a Sheridan Plus Card at the time of your appointment. This application will be processed and your card will be sent to you at a later date.
Planting Service
Call the Sheridan Nurseries Garden Centre nearest you for a quote and to arrange to have your plant material planted.
Installation Options
Do-It-Yourself Landscape Installation
Once you have your detailed plan, your Sheridan Nurseries Landscape Professional can show you the specified plants and materials at the Sheridan Nurseries Garden Centre nearest you. If you are interested, delivery of your plants and garden materials can be arranged. One your garden installation is complete feel free to count on us for continued support as your garden grows.
Professional Landscape Installation
Authorized Contractors are independent companies that are recommended by the professionals at Sheridan Nurseries to complete your landscape installation. Each Authorized Contractor guarantees their work and is dedicated to providing superior workmanship and customer service. Other services provided by our Authorized Landscape Contractors include: Tree Removal/Pruning, Irrigation, Fence and Deck Installation, Lighting, Natural Stonework, Interlock, Water Garden Installation and Water Features.
*All negotiations and agreements are handled directly between the homeowner and the Authorized Contractor.
